Nominee:
Sheri Dillon
Region: West Rep - 1
My
name is Sheri Dillon and I am co-owner and the head team coach at Rebound
Gymnastics in Blue Springs, Missouri. I have lived in Missouri my entire life
and wouldn't live any place else. I have been married for more than 30 years
and have a daughter and 2 sons. I have been envolved in Gymnastics for more
than 20 years. I have been the parent of a competitive gymnast, and started my
coaching career as a preschool coach at GAGE in Blue Springs, Missouri. At that
point I absolutely fell in love with the kids, the sport and the dedication that
everyone envolved in the sport has. It is a passion that can only be understood
by those of us who dedicate our lives to the sport. I have had the opportunity
to see this sport from all sides. When I first became interested in being a
part of the state committee, it was because I felt it was important as an owner
of a small gym program to present issues and concerns for those of us who do it
all in our gym. I wanted to make sure that we had a voice. Now after several
terms, I am proud to say that I have always listened to anyone in our state who
has concerns and frustrations and tried to represent our members whether I
agreed with them or not. Everyone deserves to have us listen. I hope that I
will continue to have the opportunity to again represent you on the committee.
I strive to look out for the best interest of the athletes, the clubs and the
sport in everything I do.
Nominee:
Tiffany Davenport
Region: West Rep - 1

I’m Tiffany Davenport and I
live in Blue Springs. I have been involved with GAGE/Dragon gymnastics since I
was an 8 year old level 5. I have been coaching for the past 8 years and am
currently a Dragon team coach for levels 4 through Elite. I am also the
department leader for the developmental team program at GAGE. I am the meet
director for our annual Dragon Invitational competition and numerous smaller
meets we host throughout the year. I have 5 brothers & sisters, all of whom
have been associated with gymnastics at some level. I would love the
opportunity to become more involved in the development of gymnastics in Missouri
by serving as state committee representative.
