My name is Thomas McGinley and I am the optional coach at GT Gymnastics. I want to be part of Missouri Gymnastics because it’s not about what levels you have coached. It’s not about how many state, regional or national qualifiers or champions you have had. It’s not about what gyms you have worked at or where you work. It’s about Missouri Gymnastics. It’s about every gym and every professional member having a say and knowing what’s going on. It’s about great state meets and memorable qualifiers. It’s about education for coaches and gymnast. It’s about promoting Missouri Gymnastics in every aspect. I want to help promote gymnastics in the St. Louis area and in Missouri. I am committed to keep every professional member involved and informed about Missouri Gymnastics.

I have been coaching for about 20
years. I have been involved in the sport of gymnastics as a parent, coach and
now as an owner. Our program at Rebound is dedicated to providing a positive
atmosphere for our athletes. We strive to remember that everyone is different
and that success is different for everyone. It is my deepest desire to continue
to help our state move forward and become a leader in the sport of gymnastics.
We all need to work together, keep an open mind and work as one to make our
state the best it can be. It is vitally important to me, to listen to ALL of
the gyms in the state and move in directions that are equally beneficial to all
us as an industry. I truly hope that the professional members in our state
allow me the opportunity to continue in my current position on the board and
feel that they can trust me to look out for their best interest.
