State Chairman Election
Request For Nominations

Term of Office: 2 years beginning July 1, 2006 

Criteria for Nomination:

Nominees must be professional members of the women’s program in good standing for a minimum of two consecutive years.  They must be at least 21 years old, and have been active in the state’s program for a minimum of two consecutive years.

It is strongly recommended that the candidates have financial skills, organizational skills, communication skills, a working knowledge of the program, and the willingness to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of the position.  (A detailed list of the responsibilities of the State Chairman can be found in the Operating Code.  Go to

www.usa-gymnastics.org, then click on Women’s Program, then click on the Operating Code link in the left hand pane.  The list of responsibilities is on pages 18 and 19.)
